Hello, I'm Emily!

NICE TO MEET YOU

let me tell you a bit about myself:

As the world moves, so does my imagination. I'm a creator that mainly focuses on motion graphics and graphic design!

Growing up consuming a lot of Japanese media, I became captivated with wanting to learn how they brought movement to life. I find myself examining works I enjoy and breaking it down to understand how it was made possible; I would say I capable of systematic thinking. This career pathway has led me to do a lot of self-motivated teaching as I’ve learnt all my design software by myself! I believe my self-driven nature has led me to be organized and detail oriented as I want to ensure my work reflects my hard work.

Concluding my studies at the University of Waterloo, Global Business and Digital Arts (GBDA) program, I’ve been given the opportunity to thinking and evaluate my designs logistically. The GBDA program has allowed me to explore various areas of design and collaborate with others to understand different creative perspectives. Levelheaded, practical, and creative are some of the words my peers would describe me as.

My future aspirations are to improve on: digital art, animation, and 3D rendering.
